Dear Robert:
'Thank you' is one of those wonderful phrases people use to express a special gratitude.
But there's often a lot more to it than those two words can say.
When it comes from the heart, from deep inside the nicest feelings and the most special thoughts, 'Thank you' means so much. It means thank you for taking the time to show that you care. It means 'you really made my day,' and sometimes it means that you really make all the days so much better. It means you make me feel so nice, and I wish I could do the same for you.
"Thank you" means you didn't have to but I'm so grateful that you did. "Thank you" means that you've done something special that I'll never forget.
"Thank you" may GOD Bless you as much as your kindness has blessed me.

Dear Bob,
As per our conversation this morning, I am enclosing a check for payment in full on the new roof that your firm installed at my residence, in the amount of $4,940 (Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Dollars).
I appreciate a job well done and someone in business that stands by their proposal for the work. All work was completed within a week after our initial phone conversation. This included the inspection, estimate, and actual job.
Having been in some form of the construction business for the past thirty some years, I certainly appreciate efficiency and quality workmanship. Your crew did an outstanding job and finished the work on time and the roof looks great and I am sure has added value to my home. They did an excellent cleanup and I did not have any debris or nails anywhere. Also the attention to detail and workmanship was very professional.
Your suggestion that I do the four window dormers in siding really contrasts the look of the overall roof, thanks again for the recommendation.
